How to Delete Your Data

At BLocal AI, we respect your privacy and right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your data through multiple methods:

Method 1: Through Facebook

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy
  2. Click on "Settings"
  3. Navigate to "Apps and Websites"
  4. Find "BLocal AI Publishing Platform"
  5. Click "Remove" or "Request Data Deletion"
  6. Confirm your deletion request

Note: When you request deletion through Facebook, we automatically receive notification and will delete all data associated with your Facebook account within 48 hours.

Method 2: Through Your Publisher Dashboard

  1. Log in to your publisher account at blocal.ai/admin
  2. Navigate to "Settings" → "Social Media"
  3. Click "Disconnect" next to any connected social media account
  4. Your OAuth tokens and connection data will be deleted immediately

Method 3: Email Request

Send an email to our Data Protection Officer with your deletion request:

Subject: Data Deletion Request

Include:

  • Your Facebook user ID or username
  • Your publisher account email (if applicable)
  • Description of which data you want deleted

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When you request deletion, we will remove:

  • OAuth Access Tokens: Your Facebook/Instagram/Threads authentication tokens
  • Social Account Information: Connected page/account names and IDs
  • Publishing History: Records of posts published through our platform
  • Analytics Data: Cached engagement statistics

What Data Will Be Retained?

For legal and operational reasons, we retain:

  • Audit Logs: Records of the deletion request itself (required for compliance)
  • Publisher Account Data: If you have a publisher account, your articles and business information remain (unless you specifically request full account deletion)
  • Aggregated Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you

Deletion Timeline

Data is typically deleted within:

  • Immediate: OAuth tokens and active connections
  • 24-48 hours: Publishing history and cached data
  • 30 days: Backup copies and archived logs
